This Privacy Policy explains how AskTommi collects, uses, stores, and protects information about parents and children who use the platform.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect:
- parent account information (name, email, timezone);
- child account profiles (nickname, preferences);
- subscription and billing information;
- interaction metadata and usage analytics;
- device, browser, and operational telemetry.
3. Child Conversations
AskTommi is designed with parent/child separation principles. Parents are not provided raw child chat transcripts through the product.
We may process interactions internally for:
- moderation;
- safety systems;
- operational support;
- service improvement;
- abuse prevention.
4. AI Processing
AskTommi uses third-party AI providers and infrastructure providers. Submitted prompts and responses may be processed by those providers to operate the service.
5. Safety and Moderation
Automated systems may classify prompts, block unsafe requests, apply safety policies, and generate operational risk signals.
6. Billing Data
Payment information is processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. AskTommi does not store full payment card details.
7. Data Retention
We retain data only as reasonably necessary for platform operation, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security and abuse prevention.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Parents may request access to account data, correction of inaccurate data, and deletion requests where legally permitted.

11. International Processing
Data may be processed in jurisdictions outside Australia.
